Alhamdulillah, through the will of Allah ﷻ I have been able to support our brother Yusuph with food over the past few months. However, his situation has worsened, and I am reaching out to the wider community for help.
Brother Yusuph is a young orphan in The Gambia who cares for his younger siblings, Aisha(12) Kemo(9) and Fatou(3). Sadly, he lost both of his parents in a car accident and has no family support. He previously worked as a woodcutter, but the practice became illegal and since then he has been unable to find work. Without education or resources, he is struggling to survive.
Currently, Yusuph and his siblings are homeless. They sleep in loading docks at night (from 10pm–7am), however due to flooding they are no longer able to stay there and have resorted to sleeping on the streets. They rely on scraps of food from the local market to eat. Despite these trials, Alhamdulillah, he remains a strong Muslim who continues to make heartfelt duʿa for myself, my family, and the Ummah.
This fundraiser has been set up to provide Yusuph and his siblings with:
•Regular food and clean water
•Safe shelter and accommodation
•A chance to rebuild their lives with dignity
No amount is too small — even a little sadaqah can make a huge difference in their lives. Your contribution could be the reason these children sleep with a full stomach and a safe roof over their heads tonight, in shaa Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Judgment will be his charity.” (Tirmidhi)
Please donate generously and share this fundraiser with your family and friends so that together we can ease their hardship. May Allah ﷻ reward you for every penny given and for every duʿa made.
May Allah ﷻ ease their affairs, grant them stability, and reward you all abundantly.
JazakAllahu khairan for your support.
