AmpCamp Kids is a holiday-style camp experience created specifically for families with children who have limb differences.
It was set up by founder Ben Lovell and his wife Laura Lovell, Ben is himself an amputee
The goal is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
Families can relax without feeling judged or “different”
The camp takes place in Tenerife (Spain) and is more like a fully organised holiday retreat.
Things included:
Accommodation in a luxury villa
Meals prepared by an in-house chef
Transport and organised trips
Group activities and excursions
Activities can include:
Beach days
Water parks
Animal parks
Games, outings, and social events
Fun themed experiences (like meeting characters)
The focus isn’t just fun—it’s also emotional support:
Helping kids build confidence and positivity
Letting families meet others with similar experiences
Creating a sense of community and belonging
Giving parents a chance to relax while kids are supported
Who it’s for
Children with limb differences
Their families (it’s not just for kids alone)
It's an amazing place
