Moumou has been by my side for 9 years. A wonderful, intelligent cat who's been there through all my hardest moments. He comforted me when I was at my lowest, and honestly, I don’t know if I’d still be here without him. I'm sure many people can relate to that kind of bond.

Until recently, Moumou has always been healthy. But out of nowhere, he developed serious urinary issues. He’s been rushed to emergency care twice in less than 72 hours, which has been incredibly stressful and scary for all of us. The vets believe it’s stress-related, even though he’s never shown any signs of anxiety at home. We've been doing everything we can, changing his environment, adjusting his diet, and making sure he feels as safe and calm as possible.

So far, we’ve managed to cover the emergency vet bills, but as many of you know, these costs pile up quickly. We’re now facing the ongoing costs of his special diet, potential emergency treatments, and most likely a PU surgery. This type of complication will sadly stay for the rest of his life.

I’ve never been someone who’s comfortable asking for help, but right now, we could really use it. Euthanasia is not an option. Moumou still has so much life in him, and he doesn’t deserve to leave this world just yet.
