Hi, my name is Donterreo Culp, a dancer and choreographer whose passion lies in the creation of work that is genuine, raw, and true to the performers. My artistic philosophy is grounded in the belief that dance should transcend physical limits and evoke an emotional connection between the performers and the audience.

It is with great excitement that I announce my selection for the wonderful "Moulin/Belle" residency in France, where I will be accompanied by five incredibly gifted dancers, Olivia Chesneau, Noëlle Davé, Mika Greene, Allegra Persico, and Mackenzie Simons for a 13-day trip. This residency will provide us with a rare opportunity to nurture our creative process and hone our skills through a combination of rehearsals and professional development workshops.

I am humbly reaching out to you, seeking support to cover the costs associated with this residency, which includes flights, accommodation, and sustenance for the dancers, totaling $8,000. As an artist, I believe it is of utmost importance to me that the dancers are properly compensated for their time and efforts. I am personally invested in this project and am putting my own funds towards it, while also actively seeking grants and other sources of funding outside of this GoFundMe. Your generosity will not only enable us to bring our artistic vision to life, but it will also allow us to give back to the community through a progress showing, which will be open to the public.

This experience will challenge us to explore uncharted territories in our creative processes and result in an unforgettable journey for both the performers and the audience.
