MOTR / Woodward Theater Emergency Staff Fund

MOTR Pub and The Woodward Theater are small, independent businesses that have been open in the historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati for years (MOTR since 2010, Woodward since 2014). Our staff was recently hit hard by the sudden mandatory closing of bars in Ohio due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Many of our staff are considered tipped employees, and make nearly all of their wages via tips. Everyone is struggling to make ends meet, pay rent, buy groceries for themselves as they are now suddenly out of a job.

Anything you can donate will go directly to keeping our employees afloat during this time. Many have been with us since 2010 and are unwaveringly loyal and a huge part of our family. For some, this is their only job. Whatever we can do to help them through this time, we’d like to try.

We hope to reopen strong and ready to serve the community when it is safe to do so again.
