I am looking for help for my son’s medical bills after loosing a fight with a suv.

He was riding his bike in Estero Thursday February 15th and a suv rolled thru a stop sign into his lane of travel. The suv driver told a friend of mine “I did a California stop” basically a rolling stop but my son ended up hitting him in the side and destroying the bike and causing MAJOR trauma to my sons body. I was out of state so I called my mother to be at the hospital in case he needed family. At that point medical professionals told my mother my son might not live long enough to make it into surgery.

48 hours later he had 2 surgeries in 2 hospitals for a lacerated kidney and a torn aorta. Along with several staples for gashes in his leg and a couple broken ribs and broken sternum.

Several people from EMS to nurses have told us if he was not wearing his helmet and the jacket and chest protector he had on he would no longer be with us.
