Dear Friends and Family,

We are seeking your prayers and financial help for our beloved Peter (my brother).

Peter and some motorcycle friends were enjoying a 3-day leisurely ride along the California coast to Yosemite and back. He’s an experienced rider and riding a friend’s motorcycle.

The day before their return, he experienced a brake malfunction which sent him head first onto the side of a mountain. His helmet saved his life. He had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital, which was two hours away in Modesto Memorial. By God's grace, he survived. He has many cervical and thoracic spinal fractures from his neck down to his back, two broken ribs, broken fingers requiring pins to reset, and a fractured knee.

He will need months of no movement wearing a neck collar and back brace as well as post-op care and therapy for at least a year. He's the sole provider of his home without any type income during this recovery and not covered by health insurance as he was in between coverage.

There is no income or paid leave of absence from his job since he is the sole proprietor of his business. Medical bills will be astronomical, with just the helicopter cost alone being around $40,000. We're asking for your prayers and financial help during this difficult time. Both he and his wife, Wendi and children, as well as extended family are so grateful for any assistance you can provide at this time. It will be forever appreciated.
