Motorcycle Accident Xmas Eve Lyn & Joe
Donation protected
Joe and I were riding his motorcycle after a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner out with family and friends. A driver driving an SUV-Suburban pulled out in front of us to make an u-turn and started to reverse their vehicle down the road into on coming traffic, unfortunately we tried to stop and and avoid the SUV but unfortunately hit the SUV head on on his motorcycle. Joe and I both have multiple injuries but are THANKFUL to be ALIVE.
Update 12/27/23. I had surgery on my right leg the day after Christmas. I had compound fracture (bone went thru skin) as well as a crushed right knee. I am still recovering at the hospital and I am having issues with my bladder swelling and retaining fluid. I have a really long road to recover and as most of you know my job is extremely physical and I will not be able to perform or teach aerial any time soon. My business and clients depend on me showing up for them. Without me my business can’t handle a huge financial hit to cover my classes. This year in particular and this time of year have been the slowest I have seen in 5 years. I know most won’t understand how unique my business runs. My heart is breaking, my emotions are very high, and I’m severely depressed. Any and all help is much appreciated as the studio and I were already struggling before this tragic accident.
Thank you all for your support
