James was riding his motorcycle to work at 4:30 this morning, as he does every Monday-Friday. He was hit by a truck in Daytona Beach Florida. His wife wasn't informed until 14 hours after he was hospitalized. He suffered a bilateral fracture in both femur and his shin and has puncture wounds from the impact of the handlebars. He had both femurs replaced as well as his shin. He had a blood transfusion of 6 pints due to internal bleeding. He will have to undergo 8-10 weeks of rehabilitation. With a minimum of 11 weeks total of work, his family will also have lost income. James is an Army veteran, husband and father with love for riding and living his life to the fullest. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
