Motorcycle Accident Relief Fund for Lisa and Jessie Jackson

On July 2nd, 2024, my beloved parents were in a head on collision with two deer while traveling on their motorcycle. I received a call from a Good Samaritan who let me know he had found them lying on the side of the road, my dad unconscious. My mother was unable to move, as her leg and wrist were shattered. My parents were in a very remote part of VA, and were airlifted to Johnson City, TN, where they have been in trauma care for the last seven days. Luckily my brother, and a few angelic friends and family who live locally have been able to be with them to support them up there during this time. Between dealing with the insurance, with the hospital, and figuring out how to get them safely home, our struggles as a family in navigating this tragedy really have only just begun, as their care and healing will take quite a long time, dealing with surgeon follow ups, rehab, etc. My parents will no doubt be struggling with an insurmountable amount of debt from this event, and so I am reaching out on their behalf to ask for help. My parents are the most selfless people I know. They will and have opened their hearts and homes to any who have needed it. They are the best friends, and family we could ask for. Please help them if you are able, and send all good thoughts our way, and share this fundraiser, as we embark on their healing journey.
