Motorcycle Accident During The Reno Toy Run
Donation protected
Chris Walton was out riding his KTM Super Duke Motorcycle on a beautiful sunny Winter day in Reno, NV with 300 fellow bikers for the Reno Toy Run. This is an annual drive they make year after year. Chris having Cystic Fibrosis himself knows and understands the importance of a helping hand to be a part of a supportive community. Unlike other years, this year turned tragic fast. Here is what happened. Vehicles sat at a street light waiting for the brigade to pass. A man in a truck lost his patience and went through the red light as 100’s of bikers passed through. He ended up hitting Chris so hard he flew 20-30 feet and broke many bones in his arm causing extensive injuries and bleeding from his ears and nose with a concussion. As of now Chris has undergone multiple surgeries and has many more to come. His new bike of only 1 month is completely smashed and is now a pile of scrap metal. We ask for anyone who knows someone with Cystic Fibrosis to lend a hand to Chris. We ask for anyone in the biker community, someone who has been touched by Toy for Tots to please help. Chris is engaged to marry the love of his life Cassandra in June 2021. We ask to help Chris and Cassandra keep the ability to get married and have Chris walk down the aisle to his beautiful bride, despite this horrific event.
