You know how beautiful and empowering birth can be. If your life has been touched by a midwife, you’ve probably thought, maybe just for a moment, about becoming a midwife or doula, a birth photographer, or a helper at a friend’s birth. It’s natural to want to share this amazing experience with others, and help them the way you have been helped. Fortunately with the Mothership Fund, there’s an easy way you can help families in our community achieve the birth they desire.

The Mothership Fund was started by the CHOICE Parent Support Group to help more families access  support and education for the birth of their choice. Money is raised through the summer silent auction, the winter movie screening, and other efforts. The Mothership Fund helps families in need with a percentage of their CHOICE fees, whether for home birth support, doula support, or childbirth education.

Since 2011, the CHOICE community has helped 38 families through the Mothership Fund. Currently the fund receives from 2 to 5 applications each month, and the amounts awarded are around 20% of the families’ fees, depending on the amount of money that is available. Your donations will help us do more for families that are looking to our community for support. 

CHOICE is a 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
