Hi, my name is Rob. In 2022 my mother was diagnosed with a primary sarcoma cancer tumour - “leiomyosarcoma, ER -ve PgR -ve”. It was removed but has metastasized into her liver and lungs.

Recently in December 2023 she was discharged from the Royal Marsden and has been given 7 months left to live, until liver failure.

I want to try and give my mother some alternative treatments - but some are not on the NHS and may even require treatment abroad. The costs have been estimated at 18-30k GBP. Its important me that an alternative treatment is given to extend her life. However, we are not a rich family and I don't want my mother to turn down treatment just because of costs.
