Mother's Last Wish: A Resting Place

This page is to honor my mother. My mother was an amazing woman. She began her life after she was married and brought 4 children into this world. Her life was devoted to being a wife and mother. Her family was her hobby. She lived and breathed to be a wife and mother. She battled cancer and survived cervical cancer, bladder cancer, and lung cancer. 1 week ago, she received a terminal diagnosis, and we were notified that her cancer had returned and metastasized to her bones, liver, lungs, bladder and rectum. She was given days up to two weeks to live. My mother survived 1 week until her battle with cancer ended, and she earned her place in heaven.

Prior to my mother’s terminal diagnosis, we had discussed her wishes for a burial and her preference was a cremation, however after her sudden terminal diagnosis my mother stated her wish was to be buried as near as possible to her father. Our family had not prepared for this cost, but we want more than anything to honor my mother’s last wish. Our goal is to raise the funds to provide a burial as well as a headstone. Any help would be appreciated. We would like to honor my mother and lay her to rest how she wished. She had the heart of an angel and will be greatly missed.
