Mothers home destroyed in Medical Lake Gray Fire

On Friday 8/18/23 the Gray Fire burned over 9500 acres in Medical Lake, WA and surrounding areas, resulting in hundreds of structures being completely reduced to ashes.

One of the lost homes included was my Mother, Margaret’s - Who in her 60’s was just a few weeks away from retirement. She had only recently moved into this residence in the past few years, and just started getting some renovations and things fixed up around her new forever home when this happened.

Alongside the house, everything she owned except her purse & vehicle were lost, including her carefully tended garden and a wide array of irreplacable family heirlooms.

The goal for this fundraiser is to help her attain a comfortable temporary living situation, get the lot cleaned up, and start to slowly rebuild her life.
