Mother at Birth Project 2021

Life beacon is an International charity organisation which focuses on empowering the youth to reach sustainable lives.

We particularly achieve this through projects specially geared to key areas of a young person’s life. From the young person’s wellbeing and growth , to their educational journey , all through to their career paths, Life Beacon stands as a Beacon of light to guide the youth through these stages of their lives.

We achieve this with our dynamic group of volunteers who work efficiently to achieve our varying projects.

This GoFundMe page is for a current project the Life Beacon Mother and Child department is conducting called the Mother at Birth Project.

Through the Mother at Birth project you can purchase specific baby essentials a mother needs when she has just given birth, and these essentials are donated as gifts to mothers in the maternity wards of the various hospitals our Life Beacon Team visits by surprise. These hospitals are also within underprivileged areas where it is less likely for these mothers to come across the appropriate resources to care for her new born baby. Our 2020/21 project is geared to hospitals in Rural areas of Ghana , in West Africa.

This project aims to bring joy in a mother at birth’s life, as this joy will transfer itself in the love she henceforth shows her new born baby. Through mother at birth, Life beacon is able to have a first hand impact on the environment a young baby is born into, ensuring he/she is well cared for. This project also provides intervention programs to train new mothers and help them build confidence on their mother at birth journey.
