1.) VANCOUVER, BC: July 12th-24th. Dylan and Aiyanna only for Lynette Morrison.
2.) ATHENS, ON- MONTREAL, QC (Driving): Aug. 19th-29th. The whole family for Claudia Morrison.
As some may know, my dear mother, Lynette Morrison, passed away in her sleep a few weeks before I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (March/April 2021). She was a long-term survivor of a traumatic brain injury with ongoing health issues, but she left us out of the blue.

My grandmother, Claudia Morrison, then developed lung cancer that took her life just over a month after her diagnosis in the fall of the same year. I was able to make an emergency run to visit her for a few days in Montreal, not knowing if that would be our goodbye.
I have some questions for the Universe that I need to confront in person. We have some big hugs to give and receive. I have two separate celebrations of life to help prepare. Finally, I have an only son of an only son of an only son to introduce to my side of the family.
Because our immediate household is still operating off disability and food stamps, my in-laws have bared the brunt of the financial crisis my ever changing condition has put us in. We are not in desperate circumstances: we have a roof over our head, good food to eat and Medicaid to rely on (for now).
Several friends and extended family have asked if they can help. Instead of explaining the situation individually, I have decided to create this GoFundMe to alleviate the pressure of these necessary but prohibitive travel expenses for this summer. I cannot thank you enough for your help. I am continually in awe of the generosity folks from my many worlds have shown.
Last thing. I finally had the green light from my oncologist to travel internationally and feel healthier and more energetic than I have since the onset of treatment. I am, however, currently on pins and needles awaiting results from my most recent biopsy in response to low platelets: The normal range is 150-450; I was down to 9 but have been brought up to 15 and hopefully that's still climbing.
I am determined to make this trip and am slated to drive to Pittsburgh this Sunday.
Love ya'll,
Dylan
