Hello, I’m starting this fundraiser to raise money for Raschelle Carey, Mother, Daughter, Sister, and friend.

In January of 2025, her journey began with a devastating stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Over the past several months, she has defied odds and has put her all into fighting this terrible disease. Rounds of chemo, immunotherapy, and radiation have truly taken a toll on her physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Raschelle is 42, with all of the financial burden and the positive responsibilities that come with being at this age: the house, bills, and 4 daughters. She has fought so hard to maintain her stability through this storm for the months that have passed.

As you can imagine, this can really affect what time she has to spend with those around her. I started this fundraiser in hopes we can cushion her and allow her to take the much-needed rest and ease that is possible so that she can spend more time with her loved ones, especially her daughters who are not yet all adults.

In the past months Raschelle has been traveling to treatment in Indianapolis Indiana and Kalamazoo Michigan. These costs can add up as well as add stress. In addition she has maintained her full time job, first taking short term disability, going back to work, and currently working on transitioning to long term disability. This will be a strain on an already stressful, emotional and financial situation. Help us bridge this gap, and maintain her stability and comfort for the next coming months.
