Mother & Son Fighting Cancer — Help Britney & Jamon ❤️

Donation protected
Within just 24 hours, Britney and her 4-year-old son, Jamon, were both diagnosed with cancer. Jamon recently underwent a high-risk brain surgery and will soon face another, followed by weeks of radiation and potentially months of chemotherapy. At the same time, Britney is preparing to begin her own cancer treatment, while she and her husband, Jake, care for Jamon and their two young daughters. This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of medical costs, travel, and time away from work so they can focus on healing and caring for their family.

THE UNIMAGINABLE

Our sister Britney is the glue of our family — always the one calling and checking up on everyone. She and Jake have built a beautiful life together with their three children — Jamon, Sami, and Ellie. Their home is full of love, laughter, and the kind of joyful chaos that comes with three little ones. Right now, they’re facing the unimaginable — a mother and son beginning their fight against cancer.

JAMON

Jamon is a momma’s boy with the sweetest personality and the squishiest cheeks. After several tests for ongoing headaches, doctors discovered a tumor on his brain stem. On Monday, November 3, 2025, Jamon underwent a high-risk neurosurgery at Stanford Children’s Hospital after the family traveled from Oregon to receive the best possible care. Doctors were able to remove about 80% of the tumor, and pathology confirmed it as an ependymoma PFA, an aggressive and challenging pediatric brain tumor.

He will undergo a second major surgery on November 17 in hopes of achieving full tumor removal, which could significantly improve his long-term outlook. After surgery, he’ll face roughly six weeks of daily radiation treatments, followed by potentially months of chemotherapy. His recovery will require time, care, and tremendous strength.

BRITNEY

Around the same time, Britney — who had recently experienced a molar pregnancy — learned that the abnormal tissue had become cancerous. Her diagnosis is gestational trophoblastic neoplasia, and she will soon begin chemotherapy as well. All the while, she and Jake are caring for Jamon through countless tests, surgeries, and treatments, while also nurturing Sami and Ellie through this difficult season.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

The family is coping with intensive medical treatments, constant travel between Oregon and California, and time away from work. This fundraiser was created to help ease some of the practical and financial challenges ahead so Jake and Britney can focus on their family’s healing and well-being.

Your kindness, generosity, and continued prayers mean the world to them. Thank you for surrounding this family with love and support during such a difficult journey.
