Mother of Two Critically Mauled by Dog

Hello. My name is Sherri and I am fundraising for my sister-in-law, Liz, who was brutally and horrifically mauled by a Great Dane on September 25/24.

Liz is currently in a trauma unit at Sunnybrook hospital after suffering life altering injuries during the unprovoked attack.

She is a mother of two children who are both in university. They have dropped everything to be with their mother and are doing their absolute best to support her.

Liz has multiple traumatic head injuries, that require extensive surgery. She will be horribly scarred for life, physically and mentally. In addition to the head, face, ear, arm, chest and foot injuries sustained during the attack, all the ligaments in her knee were torn, leaving her immobile. She will require extensive rehabilitation and psychological assistance for a very long time.

Liz has a part time job which offers no benefits or sick time. She needs funding to help her with loss of income, medical equipment and therapy.

Liz is the kindest and most generous person I know. She is the heartbeat of our family. She is suffering. She requires assistance to recover and move forward.
