Less than a year ago, Jessica and her husband, Danny, were told that their infant son, Logan, had leukemia. He was only four months old. Since then, Jessica has devoted herself completely to caring for him through hospital stays, treatments, procedures, and the uncertainty that comes with a life-threatening diagnosis.
As Logan continues his courageous fight against leukemia and prepares for a bone marrow transplant in the coming weeks, the family has now been dealt another devastating blow.
On June 2, Jessica suffered an unexpected seizure and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors discovered a mass in her left frontal lobe. While they are still awaiting a definitive diagnosis and remain hopeful for positive news, Jessica will, at a minimum, require brain surgery to remove the mass.
Jessica and Danny are also raising their two other young children, ages 4 and 5, while trying to navigate constant medical appointments, hospital stays, and the emotional toll of caring for a child with cancer. Danny works as a firefighter and has been doing everything possible to support his family through this journey.
The financial strain has become overwhelming. Jessica lost her job 2 months ago as her work would not allow for a remote work accommodation so that she could care for Logan. The family is now facing mounting expenses while preparing for Logan’s upcoming bone marrow transplant and Jessica’s brain surgery.
Despite everything, they continue to show incredible strength, faith, and love for one another. But no family should have to carry this burden alone.
We are asking for your help to ease some of the financial pressure so that Jessica and her family can focus on what matters most: her health, Logan’s treatment, and caring for their children during this incredibly difficult time.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Jessica, Logan, and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for supporting a family that has been asked to endure more than most of us can imagine.
