Mother of hospitalized 15yo needs help

Hi, My name is Rachel, and I am creating this fundraiser for my best friend, Kim. Her 15 year old son, James, has been in the hospital since December 16th with Covid-19. He has been on the ventilator and ECMO since then. Kim has been fortunate enough to be with him daily, but that means she has not been able to work. James is slowly showing progress but it is still going to be a long road for recovery including rehabilitation which will require Kim to continue being off work. This entire situation has placed a heavy burden on my dear friend and the last thing I want is for her to have to stress about how she will continue to be there for her son and contribute to her family financially. I am asking that you please donate so Kim is able to keep up with her bills as well as the upcoming medical expenses. All funds will go directly to her to help her stay afloat during this time.
