MIA GRINEAGE- Mother of 5 struck and killed by car

Hello,

My name is Natisha Grineage, and my mother has passed away due to an extremely tragic event that happened just before 11:00 PM on August 5th.

A lady was driving late at night going around 80-100km/hr on a stretch of road that permitted that speed limit. Unfortunately, she struck my mother who was crossing a dark area with poor lighting. Unfortunately, upon impact her skull was fractured with an irreparable brain injury, snapped spinal cord, and several broken bones, she was deceased upon impact. Still, the doctors kept her on life support until all tests were completed to see if there was any brain activity and in hopes of donating her organs to give the gift of life but all organs were denied, and all brain activity had seized the day of the accident.

Sadly she took her last breath at 7:00 PM on August 10, 2022 at Sunnybrooke Hospital while I held my hand on her heart until the last beat.

We are asking for any help you may be able to provide to help with funeral expenses and funds to set aside for her children that have been left behind to help with their ongoing care and future. Mia was a mother of (5) including myself, Natasha Grineage, Nathalia Grineage, Alexander Anderson, and Uzander Anderson.

We ask that you please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we heal from this tragic event that took the life of our beautiful mother.
