#HelpCoraleeRecover
I am a big brother, I need your help. I am fundraising for my baby sister, Coralee Allen's medical treatment, she needs your help now more than ever. Currently, Coralee is in a light state of coma with slow and steady improvement but has a long road to recovery. Friday, May 13th she and 2 young girls were hit by a drunk driver while out enjoying her prized possession a 4-seat Polaris RZR.
Coralee is 31 years old and an amazing mother of 2 young daughters.
Her friends and family know her as a fierce, loyal, loving mother and human being. She is a recovering drug addict with over 8 years of clean time and she could have stopped there, she could have stopped after getting her girls back from the foster care system, she could have just overcome her addiction and just lived a healthy lifestyle. Not Coralee, she chooses every day to help others become clean as well, she chooses to work in the drug recovery field as an intake coordinator and helps counsel individuals on how to regain control of their lives, as she has. Coralee is irreplaceable to her family, coworkers, and the community she adored.

Unfortunately, her life has been forever changed as well as her 2 daughters and the other adults and children involved. It all shattered on the night of Friday, May 13, 2022, when she was hit by a drunk and high driver. Coralee and I come from a very modest upbringing, so when she clawed and fought her way out of the throws of addiction, regained her health, and started an amazing career helping others do the same, one of the first things she bought for herself was 4 seat RZR. She never missed an opportunity to share it with others, she was so proud the week prior when she had paid it off. she had been begging me for weeks to go on a night ride with her, so I decided to make it a big one, there were 3 of us with SXS's and we set off on an adventure exploring the cool night air of our desert home. Her youngest daughter had fallen asleep in the back seat of her RZR so we decided to take her home. We were less than a half-mile from home, As a driver of a truck passed me I felt it... I can't explain it but I was overcome with rage, fear, and adrenaline as I watched my sister signal left and begin to turn into our road. The 3/4 ton pickup truck never hit his brake until he had already struck her at a very high rate of speed. The rest of us were forced to watch the now conjoined vehicles as they went over the embankment.
Coralee's Daughter, the sleeping passenger in the back, by the grace of God was relatively unhurt, with bruises, scrapes, and soreness. Coralee's Front passenger was a 12 yr old niece on her first RZR ride ever, she was not as lucky, her helmet was ripped off and she is suffering from concussions, and hip fractures, and unfortunately remembers the whole thing and has nightmares now.

We believe Coralee took every bit of pain she could physically take away from the girls.

She was stabilized just enough to fly her to Tucson and that very night had emergency surgery on her;
~ Liver
~ Lower Intestine
~ Bladder
~ Colon
~ Collapsed Lung.

During the long night in the ICU, they also found;

~ Broken left Femur
~ Front & Back Pelvis were shattered
~ Both collar bones snapped,
~ Skull fracture
~ Including Brain bleeds...
She continues to take steps towards recovery, 10 total surgery so far and she hasn't given up, she is a fighter!! Because of a D.A.I. (Diffuse Axonal Injury), she has yet to completely regain consciousness. Every day brings hope of recovery, the doctors are impressed by her and her amazing ability to survive such an unexpected & devastatingly long list of critical injuries.

It is not our nature to ask for financial support, but we want to make sure Coralee has the best possible care once she is discharged from the hospital (beyond the limited coverage of his insurance). If you are able please donate to this fund to help her regain some sort of life. Her medical bills will be crushing, her long in-patient physical therapy will be brutal and her long mental recovery will be mountainous although, any of you that know Coralee, already know, that Heavenly Father Built Her Different!!!
