Terri Higgins, a dearly loved wife and mother with 4 children (13 & 15 year olds still in school), and grandchildren as well was diagnosed this year with pancreatic cancer.  This family has been under challenging circumstances.  Terri has been very active in her church and has been an absolute incredible support to her husband and kids.  Terri has been through unsuccessful chemotherapy and is now receiving palliative radiation.
They are a stoic family.  Rick is working very hard, but it's been impossible to meet all these bills.  Her kids are the greatest, doing well in school and very active in sports.  This fund will help to reduce the present stresses they are facing, so that they may remain in their home comfortably and Terri can receive the expensive meds that she needs to reduce the pain, nausea and vomiting which  accompanies this particular cancer.  Jack Higgins  (Rick’s brother)  passed away 2 years ago with a brain tumor.  Terri and family were  always there for him with loving support and tons of encouragement.  It's time now for us to help return some of those kindnesses.
