Mother in ICU due to Covid-19
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Taylor. I am asking for donations as my mother was admitted into the Heart Hospital emergency room on Thursday 1/13 due to covid. She has been experiencing extremely low levels of oxygen - down to 56%, along with symptoms like shortness of breath, numbness, and sharp pains and rapid heartbeat. As of yesterday, 1/16, she was transferred to the ICU because she had reached maximum use on the bipap machine that was giving her oxygen. My family and I have not been able to see my mother since she has been admitted. Due to her testing positive, they do not allow visitors. She has now been intubated and is on a ventilator. We are so worried about her and just want her healthy and to come home. I am asking for donations because not only is our mother in the ICU, but my father had also tested positive and has been at home sick. My father is a part-time mail delivery/carrier at USPS, however he usually works full-time hours which can be up to 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. With him only having the part-time position, unfortunately he receives no benefits, meaning he has no paid time off or sick leave. This also raises hardship being that he is too sick to work and make his regular hours, all while worrying about his wife and doing the best to be strong for his family. We are worried about medical expenses and our father being able to support our home in these conditions. Most of all, we just want our family to be okay and together again. She is the best mother to her kids, the best spouse to my father, and the best grandma to her grandson. Any donation of any amount would help and be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please just say a prayer for my family as we push through this uncertain time. Thank you so much.
