Mother & Family Expenses

On Tuesday morning, my mother Teresa and baby brother Juan were involved in an accident at their house. It's still hard to believe that this is our reality, but we appreciate each and everyone who is praying for our mom and for the family.
To give you all an update my brother is stable and has been released on Thursday. He did have a broken head, but doctors say that since he is just two weeks old a babies tissue is soft, so it will heal at its own. His right arm was swollen and his right leg was bruised, and had many scratches from the glass on his face.
As for my mom, she is still in critical conditions, but has improved in the last few days. She is still in the ICU and has had three surgeries, which involve her head, the doctors had to shave her hair off in order to get all the glass and dirt that was in her skull. She has many more surgeries yet to get, but if they do it all at once it would be too much for her to handle. The doctors are giving her time to heal, but they will continue to do anything in their hands to help her recover faster. She has many broken bones and is wearing a brace that is around her waist and on her right leg to help straighten her bones, but have yet to do surgery in her lower part of the body.
The improvements that she has made involve her moving her hands and feet when the doctor tells her a command she understand and either moves her right/left hand or her left feet. This means that her brain is fuctioning good.
My mom is a fighter and me and my siblings will always look up to her. We continue to have faith that the Lord has his hands over her giving her the strength she needs to fight this battle.
We feel so loved and grateful for the continous prayers, phone calls, texts', and support. If anyone is willing to help us financially we'd really appreciate all the help we can get.

Martes, en la manana mi mama Teresa y mi hermano Juan tuvieron un accidente en la case de ellos. Todavia es muy dificil creer que esto paso, pero apreciamos todas las oraciones que han hecho para mi mama y la familia.
El bebe ya esta bien y salio del hospital el Jueves. Su cabeza esta dolorida pero los doctores dijieron que como no mas tienes 2 semanas que nacio, el tejido de su cabeza es suave y que eso solo se va sanar. Su mano derecho estava inchado y su pie derecho estava inchado y moretiado, tenia rasgunos en su cara de el vidrio que le toco en su cara.
Mi mama todavia esta en ICU y a tenido tres serugias que incluye no mas en su cabeza. Debian de cortarle un poco de su pelo por que vidrio y basura estaban a dentro de el craneo. Todavia necesita mas serugias pero los doctores no quieren hacer todo de una vez por que vas ser mucho dolor para ella y por eso le estan dando tiempo para que se recupere de las tres serugias. Los doctores estan haciendo todo lo que puedan para mi mama. Tambien tiene huesos rotos pero los doctores le pusieron un abrazedera en su cadera y su pierna derecha para que sus huesos se esterien.
El mejoramiento que ha hecho mi mama incluye sus manos y su pie izquierdo. Cuando los doctores le preguntan algo ella muve sus manos o su pie para decirnos que si entiendo lo que le estamos diciendo al ella. Esto significa que el cerebro de mi mama esta funcionando bien.
Mi mama es una mujer valiente y fuerte, yo y mis hermanas siempre la vamos a ver como la mujer que es.
Siguimos teniendo fe que Dios tenie sus manos sobre ella para que le de mas fuerzas a mi mama.
Nos sentimos tan amados por cada uno de ustedes que an orando, llamado, textiado, y el apoyo que nos an dado. Si alguien esta dispuesto a ayudarnos economicamente se lo apreciamos mucho.
