Mother Earth — A Global Photographic Expedition

Mother Earth is a multi-year global expedition dedicated to photographing and documenting a mother in every country on Earth.

Across cultures, languages, and borders, mothers represent the foundation of humanity. They carry tradition, nurture life, and shape future generations — yet their stories are rarely preserved together as part of one shared human narrative.

This project aims to create a living visual archive of the women of our planet: a collection of portraits and stories that honors motherhood, celebrates cultural identity, and reminds us of what connects us all.

How It Began

The idea for Mother Earth first came to me while volunteering in Palín, Guatemala at nineteen years old, teaching English to local children. Being welcomed into another culture revealed something universal — despite differences in geography or belief, the presence and influence of mothers remained constant.

For years, the idea lived quietly in the background until it evolved into a clear mission: to travel the world and document motherhood as a shared human experience.

Mother Earth is no longer just an idea. It is an expedition now beginning.

The Mission

Over the next 3–5 years, I will travel to all 195 Countries to:

Photograph one mother in every country on Earth
Record personal stories and cultural perspectives
Preserve a global archive of motherhood
Share the journey publicly through film, photography, and storytelling

The goal is to create an enduring body of work — a visual and historical tribute to the women who sustain humanity and the balance of the feminine and masculine roles that shape our world.

Why This Matters

We live in a time of rapid cultural change and division. Birth rates are declining worldwide, communities feel increasingly disconnected, and many of the traditions that once grounded societies are fading.

Mother Earth exists to slow down and listen — to recognize the importance of mothers, the strength of women across cultures, and the enduring human need for connection, family, and meaning.

This project is not about politics or ideology.
It is about people.
It is about honoring life itself.

A Personal Note

Mother Earth is the story I have felt called to create for years.

I believe this expedition can become something larger than one person — a collective tribute to the women who give life, hold families together, and quietly shape the world we inherit.

If this vision resonates with you, I invite you to become part of the journey.

Thank you for helping bring Mother Earth to life.
