On December 28th a vehicle taking part in an illegal street race lost control and struck a mother and her child head on at around 100mph. The mother was trapped inside the vehicle while her 10 year old daughter laid there severely injured. Both the mother and daughter are now in critical care and undergoing several medical operations.
