Mother and Special-Needs Son Forced To Move
Donation protected
For nearly her entire life, Latasha Tatum has lived at 188 Renner Avenue, a home built and filled with love and precious memories. In 2017, Latasha learned that her grandmother who suffered from dementia had a reverse mortgage resulting in the accumulation of debt that she could not resolve leading to foreclosure and sheriff's sale this April. Latasha has done everything possible from trying to set up payment arrangements to save her home as it is a stable residence for her special-needs son who only knows 188 Renner Avenue. Latasha has health issues, recently having a heart attack, taking care of her special-needs son, and trying to figure out where she is going to find a place to provide comfort and security for her family and it is tiring her out. Latasha has reached out to numerous programs and advocates seeking help regarding her housing situation but has been informed that she would have to go into a shelter and be separated from her special-needs son as he is 18 years old. As a dear friend and honorary family member I am asking that no amount is too small to help during this time.
