Mother and Son Seriously Injured in House Fire
Donation protected
At 3:00 am on April 1, 2022, a single mother and her autistic ten-year-old son were injured when their home was destroyed by fire. The child is currently in the children's ICU at UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. His mother had to be airlifted to the hospital in Cincinatti. The multiple locations of mother and son have caused significant financial strain on the family.
Aiden, the young boy, is currently not responding. An MRI is being processed to see if brain activity can be found.
Kayla is currently fighting for her life. She has suffered 2nd-degree burns on 7% of her body, but the internal damage is more severe.
The family needs as much help as possible. When they leave the hospital, God willing, they will have no home to go to. All belongings and her transportation were destroyed. This tragedy is a devastating crisis for the family.
All donations will go to lodging, travel, and medical expenses and provide a starting point for the family to rebuild their lives.
All donations, prayers and support are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
