My name is Farrah, and I am reaching out to share my story in the hopes of gaining your support during a challenging time.

At 46 years old, I am currently facing the daunting reality of Her 2 positive stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to my lungs. This journey began in 2011, with two subsequent recurrences. Despite undergoing treatment over the past year to address difficulties in breathing, the outcomes have been less than favorable. In January 2024, I received the disheartening news that the masses in my lungs had increased in size. Consequently, I am now embarking on a long-term chemotherapy regimen, aiming to prolong my life and diminish the masses.

Compounding the complexity of my situation, in 2022, my 75-year-old mother was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer, which has metastasized to her stomach and liver. As the only child, we have become each other's primary caretakers, navigating the challenges of simultaneous long-term chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately, the financial strain resulting from exorbitant medical bills has become an additional burden, given that her insurance coverage falls short in covering all necessary medications and chemotherapy sessions.

In an effort to alleviate this financial hardship, I have initiated a fundraiser with the goal of raising $25,000. This amount is intended to cover a significant portion of my mother's medical bills for the year, allowing me to contribute to the remaining expenses while also addressing my own medical bills.
