Hello, I am Moa’taz from Gaza. I lived a life full of hope and ambitions with my wife Marrah and my little daughter Miela. I worked as a university lecturer in architectural engineering and interior design, and I owned a workshop for designing and manufacturing furniture. The future seemed bright for us, but the war destroyed everything. Our home was destroyed, our livelihood disappeared, and everything we owned turned into memories.

Our story today…

We were forcibly displaced from our home in northern Gaza on October 7, 2023, in search of safety, but danger follows us everywhere. Bombing and incursions are chasing us wherever we go.

My wife Marrah suffers from malnutrition due to the lack of food and clean water. Every moment, I am afraid for my daughter Miela, who has known nothing but the sounds of bombing and destruction in her life.

Diseases and epidemics have become a terrifying threat to our lives.

The lack of clean water, overcrowding in shelters, and the shortage of medical care have led to the rapid spread of diseases. We do not have the resources to combat these epidemics or provide the necessary treatment due to the skyrocketing prices.

We face great difficulty in covering daily expenses and securing our basic needs. Prices have risen abnormally, and everything has become out of reach. Even food is either unavailable or extremely expensive, causing continuous hunger for me and my family, especially baby Miela.
