On August 8, 2020, Blain was involved in a boating accident and was hit by the boat prop sustaining a life/limb threatening injury to his right leg. Thankfully his friends performed much needed first aid and he received a transfusion and was transported immediately to the operating room. After 4 hours of surgery, he was transferred  to UC Davis where he underwent an additional 5 hours of surgery and now his leg and foot have a pulse.  He has been extubated and is breathing on his own-we knew he was a strong young man!  This campaign has been started to provide Rob and Erin money they will need for fuel, meals, lodging and incidentals while traveling back and forth to be with Blain while he is hospitalized.  Please consider giving if you can.
