Mosque on behalf of AlHussein Omairi
Donation protected
My name is Malak, the sister of the late and beloved AlHussein Omairi. I started this page in hopes of building a mosque on behalf of Hussein InshAllah. Each dollar donated will go towards an organization in Bangladesh that will support the construction of a Mosque.
On September 16th, 2023 Hussein returned to his Creator while on a trip with his friends in Invermere, BC. It was then, their weekend and our lives took an unexpected turn. Hussein was unable to return to the boat after being in the water. We were left with no information on his wellbeing and whether or not he had resurfaced to land or remained underwater. For 4 days, our hands were tied and our hearts were bleeding. It wasn’t until we hired the most amazing Search and Rescue Team (HEART Inc), who drove 16 hours from Manitoba and were able to recover Hussein’s body. They were our last hope and gave my family and I the closure we needed and a chance to say our final goodbyes with Hussein, until we are reunited again.
Hussein is a man that loves so deeply. Everything he did, he put his all. He always spoke about the Deen with so much passion and enthusiasm. He was eager to know more and continually better himself to be the best Muslim he can be. He is a loving son, a loving brother, a loving friend, and most importantly a loving servant to Allah.
Hussein spent whatever spare time he had in the mosque. It was a second home for him, an escape from the dunya, and a place where he felt most connected to his creator. Hussein dedicated his time to expanding on his knowledge when it came to Islam. This past year he learned how to read Arabic, to be able to read the Quran and really understand the meaning.
Knowing the peace that Hussein felt when he was in Allah’s home, it would bring Hussein so much happiness to be able to give people the same comfort he felt.
Sadaqah jarriyah is one of the most beautiful things Allah allows us to do for our loved ones that departed this dunya.
While they may no longer be with us physically, there is a way to benefit them in the barzakh world and in some way remain connected.
We all love you so much Hussein. We will do all we can in this dunya and pray that you know we're always thinking of you and making you proud in the akhira. I pray to Allah everyday you are amongst the people of Jannat al Fardous, sitting with our beloved Prophets Alauhi AlSalam and listening to their stories.
You are forever in our hearts, Huss.
