First off, thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising site!
My name is Moses Hooper. I am a senior film student at Biola University. This summer I am going to Africa for a missions trip. I will be assisting a team develop an orientation program for staff and students at the African Bible College in Malawai.
This is my first missions trip outside of the USA. Up till now, I have had the privilege and honor to serve with several ministries through my local church, in my local neighborhood, and in intercity LA. I have also served in a variety of capacities in urban outreaches, including LA probation and juvenile halls, Skid Row, and the California School Act. The mission in Africa will be my first exposure to global missions.
As you can imagine, I’m very excited. However tons of logistics and planning will be required for the trip. I will be gone for almost the entire month of August. Ill return home two days before my own semester begins.
Please join me in praying for my team, God’s will, the Malawaian people, the travel arrangements, and of course the finances required to go (and come back).
For this trip I need to raise about $5000 by August 4th to cover all the expenses. This includes plane tickets, food, rent and miscellaneous traveling expenses. If you cannot support me finacially, thats okay! God will provide! He always has.
