Hello,

We are reaching out to ask for your help in continuing our mission to provide quality education for children in Uganda.

Our journey began in October 2024, when my daughter and I traveled to Uganda to volunteer at a non-profit school.

During this time, we met two beautiful siblings, Linda and Moses. Their father sadly passed away the previous year, and their mother, who we call Mama Moses, had been doing her best to raise them with very limited resources and a young baby to care for. Despite the challenges of their living situation they would always be smiling and trying to stay positive. Unfortunately Mumma Moses could no longer send the children to school as she could not pay the fees and relied on the children to help her with day to day life.

We formed a close bond with Linda and Moses and quickly saw their incredible potential. Thanks to initial donations, we were able to enroll them in a boading school where they are thriving. In just twelve months, their progress has been remarkable.

Meet Linda and Moses

Linda (9 years old): A bright, playful, and creative girl who loves swimming, singing, and arts and crafts. She has a sensitive, caring heart and a joyful spirit.

Moses (11) years old): A naturally gifted learner, especially in maths. He loves soccer, art, and tinkering with how things work. He is intelligent, kind, and very determined. He has a dream to be a professional soccer player.

Both children deeply love their Mum and little sister, who we hope will also start school this year so Mumma Moses can find full time work to improve her living conditions.

They are hardworking, compassionate, and eager to learn and really deserve a chance to create a better life for themselves and their mother and sister.

School Fees

Their school fees are $1500 Aud per term (there are 3 school terms per year) for both children which covers:

The reason we chose to enroll Linda and Moses in boarding school is because they lived very far away, and boarding offered them not only education but also stability. I believe that a child’s ability to learn is deeply influenced by their environment. While Mamma Moses does her absolute best, there were times when she couldn’t afford food. At home, the children slept on a blanket laid on a dirt floor, with no toilet facilities. Their clothes and shoes were worn out, often too small and full of holes. To help their mum, Linda and Moses would walk about thirty minutes from their hut to fetch heavy buckets of water, which they carried back on their heads.
