Moscoso Family Medical Support

I met Raul in Ecuador over 25 years ago. We were both there as unpaid service volunteers giving 2-3 years of our life to serve others. He influenced my life at an especially difficult time. And he inspired me along with many others to love, care, and smile for all who God placed in our path.

Just a few years ago, Raul and Yadira faced the heartbreaking loss of their 13 year old daughter, Paula, to cancer. Their resilience was further tested when escalating drug cartel violence in Ecuador forced them to abandon their home and livelihoods, seeking safety and a new start in New Jersey.

In the past 18 months, despite living in a cramped two-bedroom home with six family members across three generations, they have shown remarkable strength and determination. Yadira is relentlessly pursuing qualifications for employment, while Raul has transitioned from construction to a warehouse job, striving to provide for their family.

Tragically, their challenges have compounded. Yadira was diagnosed with breast cancer and needs surgery this week, and at the same time, Raul is grappling with a heart condition requiring surgery, alongside a worrisome, non-responsive lung lesion.

This family, who has already endured so much, now faces a mountain of medical bills and a stressful challenge to their health and wellbeing. YOUR SUPPORT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
