On August 6th, Mo went into the vet for a UTI. The vet did an X-ray to make sure she wasn't compacted and found a mass about the size of a jawbreaker near her heart and lungs. We visited the pet clinic in Omaha for a second opinion and bloodwork.

We're already about $750 into medical bills so far and are looking at a mountain more for surgery and potentially chemo depending if it is feline leukemia. Those of you who know Mo, she is truly her own soul; either she loves you or hates you and has no problem letting you know. Two pets and a bite is her way of letting you know that's enough.

While she may not show the world love, she has been my shadow and sidekick for the last 16 years and loves me unconditionally, so we are going to fight like Mo would—fierce!
