Morty attacked by a dog, please help cover costs

Hi my name is Stephanie, on Christmas Day we went to my partners families home with our sweet boy, Morty. This is not the first time we have brought him and we let him into the yard frequently to run around. Unfortunately, the neighbours dog attacked him unsuspectingly and resulted in morty needing to be rushed into emergency surgery. The costs of the surgery are extensive, they repaired his muscle wall but his wounds are complicated and he may need blood transfusions and an additional surgery.

Please keep him in your thoughts, he is our best friend and we love him so much. We signed a contract for 12,000CAD but we won’t have the final bill until his care is complete. Absolutely anything would be helpful.
