WHO AM I?

Hi! My name is Morti. (he/they)

I'm a black, transmasc illustrator living in the USA, and I make adult artwork.

I've been medically transitioning since 2019, and last month, I got the word that I'll finally be getting my top surgery on January 11th! I'm extremely excited because this is the final step of my transition, and it'll allow me to finalize my name & gender changes as well as finally live a much more comfortable life without constant dysphoria.

However, I'll need to secure the funds to make this possible within the next month since I will need to pay the full price of my surgery before the above date.

MONEY BREAKDOWN

I'll be traveling to the DFW area with my girlfriend and staying 3 days while I undergo surgery and recover; since my girlfriend will be my caretaker, the breakdown also includes her travel/food/lodging expenses. (I've currently paid the $500 deposit towards my surgery, so this breakdown excludes that expense.)

Since I will also be out of work for at least a month and we will be moving soon after our lease ends at the end of February, we will need some of our home expenses covered as well:

My current expenses amount to $3,700, but because of the unpredictability of plans/life, the extra $300 is there in case of an emergency/anything that may come up! If this GFM meets its goal, any addition money will go towards our move.
