Mortgage/Medical Expenses

As many of you know, mom has been in and out of the hospital for the last three months with her latest stay at 24 days and counting. We haven’t shared much about what is wrong because even her doctors aren’t really sure. She has interstitial lung disease with a non-specific cause and is much too weak for a biopsy to find out. They started her on a mild chemo med to see if it would help and it has not so now they are starting her on a heavy duty one. About the only thing they seem to be sure of is that it isn’t cancer as far as they know. But she’s in Christ Hospital, so far from us and Tess and I have been trying to make the trips. Gas and groceries and a vehicle emergency ended up eating into the mortgage money and we got behind. 

As you can imagine it’s been so hard trying to keep all the balls in the air, if you will. We were notified we had until July 26 to get the 1,277 the bank was owed for missed payments or they would start foreclosure processes. Tess and I managed to come up with all but about 500 of it.  I hate asking for help and everyone has already been so generous and kind so we understand people may not be able to help more. We thank and love each of you for what you have done.
