Hello everyone! The Kienbaum family is asking for some thoughts and prayers and some help at this difficult time. Our mother, Tammy Michaud/Kienbaum/Thompson hasn't been given any easy path the last couple of years. It started when she lost her husband, Jeff, unexpectedly back in November 2021. She went down to only one income and needed some assistance. She was told she was getting her mortgage adjusted for the next 6 months while she gets adjusted to only one income. After that 6 months has ended, she got a letter in the mail saying she was behind on her mortgage and had over $3,000 in back pay that she needed to pay in a certain amount of time or she would lose the house. Right before she got this letter in the mail she had emergency surgery due to an ulcer bursting in her intestines. While they were in emergency surgery, they found that she was at the beginning of non-alcoholic Cirrhosis of the liver. A few months later at a check-up for her liver, they then found cancer in one of her kidneys. On December 30th, 2022, she had surgery to get that cancer removed. That surgery was very complicated for her and the doctors. She ended up being in that surgery 4 hours longer than suppose to be, so 7 hours total. Because of being in that same position, she has been having complications with her hip which caused her to be in the hospital a week longer than expected and is still out from work. Anyone who knows Tammy knows how great of a person she is. She is so loving and caring and extremely helpful. She puts everyone else first no matter who you are. She takes anyone in and helps them when they are in need. Tammy has been a bus driver for the last 20+ years and is very known in the community. We are asking for your help as a community! Anything can help and will be extremely appreciated!!
