It is extremely hard for me to even ask for help, as I am not one to ask for assistance. I apologize for the length of this letter, but I want to fully explain my circumstances. I am writing in hopes of receiving help with my mortgage, which is why I am creating this GoFundMe.

Over the past year, I have experienced significant financial hardship. During this period of stress, I also became the victim of a mortgage scam. I truly believed I was making payments toward my loan, only to later discover that I had been paying a fraudulent party. This devastating situation not only drained my limited resources but also pushed my account further into delinquency.

As a result, my mortgage company has now sent me a notice to take action to save our home from foreclosure. Receiving this notice has been overwhelming and frightening, as I am doing everything I can to save our home of 31 years. I have lived here since 1994, and the thought of losing it is heartbreaking for me and my family.

Now I am required to come up with the full delinquent amount to stop the foreclosure, and staying current on my payments has become extremely difficult. The back pay alone has been a tremendous struggle, and with the holidays approaching, the financial pressure feels heavier than ever.
