During July 20-26, I will be going to Guatemala with a
team from Liberty Heights Church. Our one week trip will focus on partnering with the Guatemalan ministry, SEPAL (Serving Pastors and Leaders) along with Guatemalan churches, schools and ministries. We plan to also visit The Potter's House in Guatemala City which works with the children and families living in the city dump.
We will be working with SEPAL partners around the Lake Atitlan region of Guatemala to assist the local medical clinic, sports clinics at local schools, as well as visiting homes of sick and old people in the community to pray for and encourage them. We will also be spending time with disabled children.
I'm excited about the opportunity and experiences that lie ahead. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise $1,600 by June 25th.
