Morocco earthquake disaster Tent procurement

Dear friends, adventurers,

An urgent call to activism. Can you all join me to help the people of Morocco?

More than 2000 are already confirmed dead in less than 24 hours, many others are seriously injured.

Today I heard from Jamal Imerhane, friend and community elected President of the Asni region, located just a few kilometres from the epicentre.

He lives in Asni and he told me that it’s surrounding villages are destroyed or partially destroyed by the earthquake.

70 villages in the Atlas Mountains have been affected and over half the population are without shelter. Homes either destroyed or unsafe.

whole families are sleeping outdoors and in remote areas access to help or shelter is difficult with roads cut off..

Their is much need and community organisations like the Eve Branson Foundation are swinging into action.

But right now, Jamal, the community leader, David, GM of the famous Kasbah Tamadot, are saying they need Tents and sleeping bags.

The Need is urgent, a race against time

So, this week, now, I am asking all of you, many with connections to Morocco, to help me buy and deliver Tents and sleeping bags to villages in the High Atlas.
