Moroccan earthquake direct support on the ground
Donation protected
Broc the Kasbah Oz is a Moroccan owned Australian business with a store in Queenscliff, Victoria. We are currently in Marrakech with our fellow Broc the Kasbah team mates for a business trip and landed in the middle of the largest earthquake to hit Morocco in 100 years.
During this difficult time after the large earthquake that hit on Friday evening we have directly experienced its impact on our friends and family in the Medina and also the surrounding villages.
The most basic things like bread are hard to come by and there is a local village that has lost most of its male population (due to them trying to help people evacuate).
The Broc the Kasbah team are trying to help where we can but we need your help now.
We are personally speaking to those most affected in the Marrakech Medina to see what their needs are along with those in small local villages. They have lost their houses and businesses and we are distributing funds to those in need asap as support can not wait.
I will personally be transferring funds to Morocco to assist and at this stage the Broc the Kasbah team has been discussing with families how to assist in getting them back on their feet.
Please give what you can and share with others.
