How quickly a small rescue can be overwhelmed! Friday night I picked up a female Shihtzu from a transport of many dogs. She was dirty, matted, messy long hair and I thought overweight. The first two nights she barked all night long. In 20 years I haven't had a dog bark ALL night long, I didn't know what was wrong. Well Monday morning I woke up to a little surprise, actually three little surprises!! I was shocked that a breeder could give up a pregnant mama without telling anyone. That's the rescue system! Full of surprises. These babies have surprised my bank account as well. I already have three rescues in my home and two waiting to come in. I need my generous friends that provide financial support again - and we will get all of this great dogs taken care of. Kathy
