Moriah's Fund: Lymes Treatment

Five months ago Moriah started to feel discomfort in her joints that led to a chronic issue, resulting in many specialists' appointments and unexplainable pain. After seeing a number of specialists who could not explain her symptoms, Moriah saw a "Lymes-literate" doctor who was able to order the necessary tests and finally provide her with a diagnosis; finally there was hope of resolving the situation. However, this diagnosis led to a struggle with the insurance company and after a month of fruitless attempts, they denied all coverage of the required antibiotics. The inital cost of coverage was going to be over $130/day, a whopping $20,000 after 6 months of treatment. Moriah and Rusty were able to research alternative solutions and have found a cheaper supplier. However, this medication is still not cheap and they need as much support as they can attain! She is currently on the medication and will need to continue it for the symptoms to subside. In the meantime, the symptoms will get worse as the antibiotics attack the bacteria. She has been unable to work for the past 5 months and they are living off of Rusty's income in this expensive time. The money donated here will provide Moriah with the funds to get the treatment she needs in this difficult time. Please donate what you can!
