Hi my name is Amy and I am fundraising for my brother-in-law Tony and sister Melissa.

Tony retired June 2023 and was looking forward to doing some traveling with his wife Melissa Morgese (Rodde), enjoying time with his family and just enjoying the more relaxed feel of retirement. Unfortunately, life had other plans, less than 1 month after retirement, he was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Shortly after his diagnosis, he began his rigorous treatment with many rounds of chemo. A check-up in November didn’t show the results he was hoping for, it hadn't shrunk as much as they would have hoped. More rounds of aggressive chemo into 2024. With a little break in hopes of getting stronger, the tests showed yet again not the results he was hoping for. Tony will be starting a combination of radiation and chemo for 6 more weeks. More screening and tests will be done to help assess yet again what the next step should be.

The medical bills and travel expenses to doctor appointments are adding up. They are not usually the ones to ask for help, they are normally the ones helping. Which is why we are fundraising to help them.
